The HandyPress® is arguably the most flexible hand press in the market given that it comes with adapters that can be used with dies from other press manufacturers. And while the press comes with virtually all of the adapters required for dies typical to the marine and canvas sewing trades, it does not include a few for specialized or more generic inexpensive dies from Asian sources. Resultingly, Sailrite® is offering an Adapter Expansion Kit. This kit includes five more adapters. These adapters will allow for the following:

1. Use of Sailrite® SnapRite® dies. This is not our recommended die set for use in the HandyPress, but for those who already have the SnapRite dies it makes it possible to use them. We recommend the HandyPress® Snap Fastener Die Set (127180) instead. It is both easier to use, and sets the snaps better.
2. Use of Sailrite®, ClipsShop™, and Micron® America (Grommet Mart) dies for pressing self-piercing grommets, and many other functions.
3. Use of Stitching Chisels and other upper dies from both Taiwan and China. Each use slightly different threads for attachment. You get both adapters with this kit.
4. Use of KAMsnap® dies without stacking their adapter into Sailrite's. It is much easier just to use one adapter for the base die, and this 10mm hole adapter is included, as well as a proper top adapter.
