Sattler® Firemaster is a flame-retardant awning and shade fabric. Firemaster meets the strictest fire safety standards for both residential and commercial use.

Firemaster is a modacrylic/polyester blend. The color pigments are infused all the way to the core of every yarn used to weave Firemaster. This is what gives it unbeatable colorfastness and fade resistance, making the colors shine and keeping them bright for a longer period of time compared to surface-dyed fabrics.

Firemaster fabrics are finished with two special coatings that increase their performance. The first is a special flame-retardant finish. The second is TEXgard, a Sattler-exclusive finish that gives fabrics outstanding water and dirt repellence, as well as resistance to mold and mildew growth. It also shields treated fabrics from oil and grease, making them especially stain resistant and easy to clean.

In addition, Firemaster has these other excellent features:

There is a right and wrong side to this fabric, meaning that only the coated side should face the outside.
