This YKK® #15 Black Continuous zipper is a UV-treated, molded tooth zipper chain. (VISLON® is the YKK branded term for a molded tooth zipper style.) Molded tooth zippers are made with Delrin® plastic teeth molded to the fabric tape edges. This construction makes them strong and practically weatherproof, having been designed to resist damage from ultraviolet rays and corrosion. YKK VISLON zippers are great for a marine environment. Use a #15 molded tooth zipper in large sail packs, large tents, portable buildings and greenhouses, large fabric structures, commercial tarps and more.

Continuous zipper chains require at least one end to be sewn shut. They do not include a starter box or pin, top stops or zipper sliders. Top stops and sliders are sold separately. 

NOTE: A starter box and pin CANNOT be added to continuous chain. If you require a zipper that fully separates (jacket-style zipper) view our selection of separating zippers in the Finished Zippers category on our website.

NOTE: We recommend using Lenzip® sliders with Lenzip zipper chain and YKK sliders with YKK zipper chain. This chain will only work with a #15 slider for molded tooth chain.
