This is the socket die for snap fasteners (line 24 size). It is generally used in combination with a mating button die, but can also be paired with the gypsy stud die. The unique flat on the die's side of the socket receiver allows setting of either standard snap sockets, or Pull-The-DOT® sockets (also known as One Way fasteners). This is a replacement part for the Pres-N-Snap® tool.
