This Upholstery Tack Strip creates a crisp, straight edge wherever the fabric cannot be stapled in place, generally the outside edges of the arms and back of the furniture piece. This rigid galvanized metal strip is usually used in pairs on both outside edges of furniture to tension the fabric by pushing it through the material, then rolling it around and tacking it into the frame, giving your furniture piece a nice crisp edge. At a standard 1/2" width, this tack strip is a valuable addition to any home décor DIY kit.
