Twist-Lock Fastener Cloth-to-Surface with Screws is a quick and secure way to fasten a piece of fabric to a surface. Also known as Common Sense® fasteners, they are commonly used in dodger applications. This fastener method gives a finished appearance and is easy to operate. The stud portion screws into any hard surface. This Twist-Lock Fastener is made from Type 316 Stainless Steel and the screws are made from Type 304 Stainless Steel, so it’s perfectly suited to a marine environment.

3 Ways to Install the Twist-Lock Eyelet:

• To install the eyelet portion use a knife to cut small slits in the fabric for the eyelet's teeth and pliers to bend the teeth over the backing plate. Cut the fabric in the center out with scissors or a hot knife.
• Use the Twist-Lock Deluxe Lever Hand Punch Tool to quickly and easily punch holes for the center hole and 4 slits for the legs at the same time with one easy squeeze of the trigger. Works with up to 4 layers of canvas.
• The Sailrite® Twist-Lock Eyelet Hole Cutter can punch the center hole and 4 leg slits all at once. Use with a mallet and rubber cutting mat.
