Twist-Lock Fastener Cloth-to-Cloth (Stainless Steel) With Buttons is a quick and secure way to fasten two pieces of fabric together. Also known as Common Sense® fasteners, they are commonly used on mainsail covers and dodgers. This fastener method not only gives a finished appearance but also eliminates any possibility of chafe.

This Twist-Lock Fastener is made from Type 316 Stainless Steel and the buttons are Type 304 Stainless Steel, so it’s perfectly suited to a marine environment. An installation tool is required to set.

3 Ways to Install the Twist-Lock Eyelet:

• To install the eyelet portion use a knife to cut small slits in the fabric for the eyelet's teeth and pliers to bend the teeth over the backing plate. Cut the fabric in the center out with scissors or a hot knife.
• Use the Sailrite® Twist-Lock Eyelet Hole Cutter to punch holes for the center hole and 4 slits for the legs at the same time.
• The hole cutter can punch the hole and slits all at once. Use with a mallet and rubber cutting mat.
