Sew it yourself! The Sailrite® 18oz Cotton Duck Tool Bag Kit includes the pattern and materials you need to sew the 18oz cotton duck tool bag. The classic design of the heavy canvas tool bag not only looks great but is also practical, making it an excellent addition to your collection, whether for your boat’s tool bag, home repairs, or construction projects.

This tool bag features 10 side-wall pockets, both inside and outside, for a total of 20, allowing easy organization and access to all your essential tools. Whether you require space for wrenches, pliers, or drills, this bag is designed to accommodate your needs. The side walls are constructed from two layers of 18oz cotton duck, providing a neat finished look to the top edge of the bag and, most importantly, exceptional rigidity and stability, ensuring that your bag remains upright and retains its shape even when filled with heavy tools. 

Black webbing hand straps are securely sewn onto the sides for convenient carrying. You may add your own wooden base (not included in the kit) to enhance the rigidity and stability of the bag’s bottom, helping prevent your heavier tools from tipping over during transport, compared to a canvas-only bottom. This project is ideal for beginners who are new to sewing and wish to practice on their new heavy-duty sewing machines, such as the Ultrafeed® or Fabricator®, while learning basic sewing techniques.
